Where–How To Keep Up With All The Exciting News This Week From Build

I have gotten notes from a number of folks asking me if I will be posting information from the Build conference here on this site. Short answer is no. There are some great folks who have done a lot of hard work and really want to put the info out there at the right moment and I do not want to be one to mess that up with my own speculations and assumptions based on what I am seeing. With that in mind I will be only posting this week on my own use of tools in my arsenal today that are making my mobile productivity life easier. Namely, Windows 7 slate (in this case for the week a Fujitsu Q550) and Windows Phone 7 (HTC Trophy). However, if you are itching for information this week about Windows 8 and the great announcements coming out of the Build conference there is no reason to despair. Microsoft has a whole team of folks who will be bringing the info directly to you via the channels below. So check them and check often this week.

Kicking Off My Mobile Productivity Adventure

Well it Monday morning and my Mobile Productivity Adventure has begun. Right now I am sitting in the airport in Dallas typing out this blog post using Microsoft Word 2010 running on a Fujitsu Q559 Windows 7 Slate. Throughout the week I will be blogging, creating videos, that relate how the Windows 7 Slate (Fujitsu Q550) and Windows Phone 7 (HTC Trophy) enable me to be productive while traveling for a week long conference. In the Windows 7 Slate I have the rich device for consuming content/services/applications, for connecting with others, and finally, for creating rich productivity content. In the Windows Phone 7 I have a smartphone that offers the best social experience bar none. I will be posting how I use these devices. I will also be creating videos that demonstrate this usage as well as some highlighting favorite features and apps. I hope you will tune in and if you have questions around Windows 7 Slate or Windows Phone 7 then shoot them my way. It’s going to be a fun week Smile
